HANDMADE- embellished gloves

I love ideas for cozy gifts. Even a gift basket full of them is such a sweet thing to contemplate. Do you enjoy gifting collections? I hope this handmade gift comes in handy for you!

Time Commitment: 30 minutes

Skill Level: beginner hand sewing

Materials Needed:

  • gloves or mittens in sizes needed (These came from the Dollar Tree.)
  • embroidery floss in your favorite colors
  • embroidery needle
  • assorted buttons

Instructions:

Use blanket stitches or other kinds of stitches to embellish your gloves. Add buttons where desired. It is preferable to not add buttons to infant/toddler gloves.

Add hearts, snowflakes, X’s, or blanket stitches.

Add a pretty label. Gift these sweet presents with your hand warmers for a lovely basket. Have Yourself a Cozy Little Christmas!

    Very cute! I see so many “mini” embroidery patterns for things like gloves and winter hats. I haven’t tried my hand at it yet, but it ups the cuteness level for sure! ❤️

Welcome to
Honey and the Hen!

Currently I don’t have any bees (or honey). We do have meat chickens now – yay!
And we also recently purchased 20 laying pullets. I live with my Sweet Husband and 3 kids in Central Illinois. I love homesteading, homemaking, and homeschooling.
