RECENT FINDS- Hobby Lobby

My two youngest and I made a quick trip into town for a morning of errands. One stop was Hobby Lobby. I am not at all affiliated with them; this is just a fun post to show you what I picked up.

They had their Christmas 50% off and their fall 40% off. I chose two baby evergreen trees. I already have two and they’re one I love to use in our simplistic decor. I found a medium zippered canvas pouch. I keep a few of these on-hand for quick gift ideas. I enjoy embroidering on them. The pumpkin creamer was cute! But I got home and found a crack and a chip. That was sad, but not worth the 40 min drive to return it. The sunflower soup mug is a gift. Super fun!

I loved these mini canvas art frames. I chose the apple for my kitchen and the pear as a gift. Very rich colors.

I liked these Utensil holders for a Thanksgiving dinner, church function, or get together. I chose to leave them. Maybe another trip!

Not pictured: all of the pink party paper goods for my six year old’s upcoming birthday party!

What fun finds have you brought home lately?

Welcome to
Honey and the Hen!

Currently I don’t have any bees (or honey). We do have meat chickens now – yay!
And we also recently purchased 20 laying pullets. I live with my Sweet Husband and 3 kids in Central Illinois. I love homesteading, homemaking, and homeschooling. We are thankful to be saved by grace in Jesus and seek to follow Him and His Word. I am originally from Tennessee and one of six children, using much of my upbringing in what I do and love now. I enjoy learning, growing, and keeping my home with enthusiasm as unto the Lord. We garden and hope to raise more of our own food as we can. Thanks for stopping by!
